Welcome to Romagnoli Accordions. (Say: “Ro-mon-yo-lee”) We are passionate about all things accordion: accordion players, accordion music, accordion repair, accordion history…you name it!

Accordions are literally in our blood. The Romagnoli family has built, repaired and restored thousands of accordions since starting their business in 1910. We are eager to continue these traditions and bring this instrument into the 21st century. Accordionists span the generations – it’s no longer your grandfather’s instrument! Hundreds of young players are picking up the accordion and discovering that this versatile instrument is as unique as they are.

"The service was so friendly, fast, and affordable! I have a small 1950's 12-button LoDuca Bros accordion - it was purchased for $50 at a yard sale! I knew it would need a bit of work at some point, but I did about 60 performances with it before I as able to research where to take it. I called ahead but didn't get an answer so just chanced taking the 40 minute drive out to Oak Lawn. Renae at the front desk was just wonderful - so personable and friendly, taking it apart immediately to have a look. I knew it needed a replacement latch on the bottom (easy replacement!), and Renee found that some of the keyboard reeds were leaking air (another simple, quick fix!). To boot, she cleaned the entire instrument, inside and out, and put a backpad on it! It's like a new instrument! All of this while I waited and looked around and played some of their beautiful instruments. I hope to go back to get a bass strap when they get them in. This is literally the only place to go in the Chicago area for accordion service, so it's just wonderful that the service is so lovely and affordable!"
