Register your Italo-American Accordion Today

We are calling on all Italo-American Accordion owners to register their instrument. Italo-American hand-crafted thousands of accordions for players around the world and we’d love to know how many are still being played and enjoyed today.

You are part of a very exclusive group...

There are millions of accordion players in the world today, but those who own an Italo-American Accordion are a special breed. You own a piece of history! So what we’d like to do is get an idea of how many Italo-American Accordions are still out in the world. Where are they living? Are they still being played? Are you the original owner or the 15th? What kind of stories can you tell? Did you parents or grandparents play for the holidays or at the local tavern?

Once we get an idea of how many accordions are still in circulation, then we’d like to start an Italo-American Accordion club. This is all in the planning phase right now, but we’re thinking about a yearly gathering in Chicago, official Italo-American ownership certificates, stickers/patches, discounts on purchases and repairs. Like the Harley Motorcycle Club…but with accordions!

So our first step is to gather data.  If you own an Italo-American Accordion, please let us know.  Look for the serial number, but remember that not all models had one.  If you are willing, please email us photos of the accordion, or better yet, photos of the accordion being played. Also, if you have a friend with an Italo-American Accordion that does not have access to the internet, then please let us know and we’ll contact them directly.
Thank you so much for your help with this project!
