Our Saturday Squeeze Sessions have been amazing the past few months! It’s incredible to stand back and watch a group of musicians of all ages, from all parts of the world, make music together!
And the audience is so supportive and appreciative that all our musicians feel welcomed and safe. It’s such a special synergy! One of the best things about these sessions is that the audience appreciates all efforts – whether it’s a Polka played by seasoned accordionist,
or just a beginner learning their first song.
It’s a safe space with no judgement.
We are planning on hosting a Summer Squeeze Spectacular at the Lyric Theater in Blue Island later this summer. You’ll be able to hear some great musicians and bands. There will (of course) be dancing as well as the opportunity to try a few instruments yourself! And we’ll bring that “judgement-free” mindset with us! So pick up and try a concertina, a chromatic box, or a piano accordion – it’ all good!
As soon as we agree upon a date and time, we’ll let you know.
